Terms of Service

Last updated 5 September 2026

These terms are a contract between you and Parteek Singh Slathia, trading as CitizenCoach (ABN 48 642 177 226) (“CitizenCoach”, “we”, “us”), governing your use of citizencoachapp.com and the CitizenCoach service (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

What CitizenCoach is

CitizenCoach is an independent study tool that helps people prepare for the Australian citizenship test. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs. Practice questions, mock exams, and study material are prepared for study purposes only — they are not the official test, and using the Service does not guarantee you will pass the official citizenship test or be granted citizenship.

Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential.
  • You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
  • Accounts are for individual, personal use — not for resale or sharing across multiple people.

Fees and payment

Free features (the diagnostic, the full study guide, and standard practice) remain free. Premium is unlocked with a single, one-time payment shown at checkout — it is not a subscription, and there is nothing to cancel. Payment is processed by our payment processor; we don't store your card details.

Refunds: if you're not satisfied, email us within 3 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. Outside that window, refunds are at our discretion. Nothing here limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded (see below).

Your licence to use the Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use CitizenCoach for your own citizenship test preparation. You may not copy, scrape, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the question bank or study content, or use automated tools to extract it.

Acceptable use

  • Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
  • Don't reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying question bank in bulk.
  • Don't use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. We work to keep content accurate and traceable to official sources, but citizenship test requirements and content can change, and we don't warrant that the Service is error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will result in you passing the official test.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CitizenCoach's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (or other law) that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Termination doesn't entitle you to a refund beyond the policy described above.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the “last updated” date above, and for material changes we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
